Dr. Madison Ngafeeson, PhD, presented to Central Alberta leaders in the profit and social profit sectors at a recent Leadership Conference presented by the African Caribbean Centre of Central Alberta (ACCoCA) at the Scott Block Theatre.
Dr. Ngafeeson stopped by during the Canadian leg of his book tour for his recent publication, The Day Before Tomorrow: How to Make Today Count. He was greeted by local Cameroonian dancers who shared the stage and he shared his lessons learned in life.
His inspiring journey started in a distant agricultural village in Cameroon, Africa, where he was poverty stricken, but had a grandmother who believed in him and instilled the importance of education. He was then involved in flood clean up after Hurricane Katrina, in order to pay for higher education in the United States.
Now he is a global speaker, author, educator and mentor to leaders in over 50 countries.
