Marvin Baker

Marvin started skating as a kid and played hockey up until work and family duties caused him to take a break. After waging war against an aggressive form of cancer and coming out the winner he decided to get active again and joined the Senior Skating Club. Although a little unsteady at first, he continues to improve and gets stronger each time he’s on the ice. He truly is a positive role model for everyone, especially those people facing obstacles and who, like Marvin, refuse to slow down or stop enjoying life and the company of friends. As he says, “you never know what you can do until you do it.”
