Red Deer’s Rebecca Smith will compete in her second consecutive Olympic Games this summer in Paris, France after recently qualifying at the Canadian Olympic Trials in Toronto. The swimmer will compete in the women’s 4X100 metre freestyle relay, the same event she won the silver medal in at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

This fall Hadley will be staying close to home to get her degree in education at Red Deer Polytechnic while competing for the Queens’ cross-country and indoor track team.
